Description
These stunning earrings combine hand collected hollowed out .22 caliber brass bullet shells with hand trimmed porcupine quills. Each grouping of quills is hand sorted and trimmed for balance and symmetry. Nestled in an up-cycled bullet shell, these earrings are simple yet stunning for a modern bohemian feel.

Caring for your Artisan Jewelry:
Please be mindful that porcupine quills are very delicate and can be easily crushed if not cared for properly. I advise against wearing your jewelry to bed as the delicate wire pieces may become misshapen. It is also a good idea to avoid swimming in or bathing in your jewelry as this may speed up the natural patina process.
Clean your Sage & Stone pieces with warm water, a soft bristled brush and an ammonia and phosphate free dishwashing soap. Be sure to rinse throughly and never fully submerge your porcupine quill earrings in water. Gently pat dry. Avoid contact with household cleaners, perfumes and hair spray as these abrasive mixtures will tarnish the metals as well as degrade the porcupine quills.
